Frequently asked questions

CHIROPRACTORS

Q: I already provide physical care---do my patients really need this?

Yes! Many chiropractic patients also struggle with underlying inflammation, fatigue, poor detoxification, or hormonal imbalances. Functional medicine and nutritional interventions enhance their recovery and support deeper healing, making your adjustments more effective.

Q: Will this compete with my services?

Not at all. This model is complementary. Your care remains primary, and I support areas outside your scope like nutrition, lab testing, and advanced wellness protocols.

MDs/DOs

Q: How does this work alongside my medical care?

I provide supportive care for patients who may benefit from a more integrative, root-cause approach. My services do not include prescribing, and I respect your clinical lead. This collaboration can offload time-consuming patient education and lifestyle support.

Q: What if I already have a wellness program?

Great! This service expands it. I offer hands-on functional consultations, lab testing, and follow-ups—things many wellness programs lack. This fills gaps and increases patient retention and satisfaction.

ACUPUNTURIST

Q: How does this fit with Traditional Chinese Medicine?

Beautifully! My protocols can support and amplify your work—especially with hormonal balancing, adrenal health, digestion, and immune support. We work in alignment, not in conflict.

Q: Will my patients be confused?

No. We clearly communicate that I provide complementary support. Most patients appreciate the added value of combining Eastern and functional medicine.

PHYSICAL THERAPIST

Q: My patients come for rehab—why add this?

Many rehab patients experience systemic issues that slow their recovery (e.g., inflammation, poor nutrition, fatigue). IM injections and targeted protocols can accelerate healing, improve energy, and enhance long-term outcomes.

Q: Will I have to coordinate care?

Only if you’d like to. I can operate independently and keep you updated, or we can co-manage care more closely if you prefer.

Will this add more work for me or my staff?

No. As an independent contractor, I handle all aspects of scheduling, billing, and patient communication. Your clinic’s role is to help promote the services and support visibility to your patient base.

Is this compliant with California law?

Yes. This partnership is structured legally. I operate as an independent contractor and collect payments directly. There is no fee-splitting based on referrals—only revenue shared from actual services provided.

Do I need to provide extra space?

No additional space is required to start. If in-person visits are needed, a single private room or shared treatment space during designated hours is sufficient. I also provide services via telemedicine.

What’s expected of me in terms of marketing?

Your role is to help introduce these services to your patients—via conversations, signage, or digital communications. I’ll provide all marketing materials (posters, brochures, scripts) to make this easy.

What if my patients ask about insurance?

I operate on a cash-based model, which means no insurance billing. Patients can use HSA, FSA, credit, or debit cards. I provide superbills upon request, so patients can seek reimbursement from their insurers if eligible.

Can I try this out before committing long-term?

Absolutely. We can start with a short-term pilot or trial collaboration to see if it's a good fit for your practice and patient population.

Duration: 1-3 months (based on your clinic's needs).

Availability: 1-2 days per month on-site or hybrid

Goals: Assess patient demand, revenue potential, and clinic workflow alignment.

At the end of the trial, we'll review outcomes together and determine if we'd like to move forward with an ongoing partnership.
